Back from canon update & hiatus [video]
Geez, I've got such a headache. Anyone know how long it's been? Or where the hell the chibi brat in a straw hat is now?
[Smoker's outside of the pokecenter to get a smoke, and all his pokemon are practically clinging on him. It has been since about Christmas after all. Even his gyarados is practically on top of him, though he seems pretty nonplussed about it.]
What month is it anyway? Hey. Anyone who's returned home, what's the longest anyone's gone and come back?

Pretty much. He's the son of the most wanted man in my world, grandchild of a crazy marine who was probably the strongest marine, and Straw Hat himself wants to be Kind of the Pirates. He's easy to underestimate, but leaving him alone for ten minutes usually creates some sort of instant problem. Not to mention his big brothers taught him how to mug people with pipes when he was seven.

Not yet. Damn kid. I swear to hell if he's hurt I'm going to kill him. [Not really, of course. They're on opposite sides of the law, but nearly two years of looking after a kid, he starts to grow on you.]
I wonder if he grew any.

It's sort of an idea that turns up a lot in stories where I come from. The question of whether it would be ethical to use time-travel to kill a really evil person before they had a chance to do anything.

He's actually saved a lot of lives as well, so to kill him before then would also put them in danger. And I don't want to kill him anyway, just catch him.

He's still a pirate, and his aim is still something that could very well destroy the world. I just have to stop him before that happens; but not while he's a child.
It's moot here anyway.
