Note to self, find more birdseed and pokefood.

Looks like I'm carrying around Kazooie. I forget why. [He doesn't, but he does look like he doesn't want to say the reason.] And now I've got a 10-year-old Straw-Hat in tow. And I still can't make my fish doing anything except Splash.

I really hope this is a dream.

In case it isn't, any and all marines report in immediately. This is White Hunter Smoker, over and out.

[About to shut it off and remembers.] Garp if you're here, I have your Grandson. One of them. Okay that's it. [NOW shuts it off. Then it comes on again about fifteen seconds later with him looking shifty and flustered.]

His aipom, on the other hand, jumps towards Smoker's pants. He wants to climb up on the backpack too!]

[Oh god, more climbing. Smoker's gonna grab the monkey -- the one without a Straw-Hat -- in one hand and kind of inspect it. Vaguely. And hope he doesn't get his face scratched to hell.]

He's coming because I say so. And if this isn't some weird dream, I have to keep an eye on him. Even if it is.

The thing's scrawny anyway. Probably doesn't taste good.

[The kid doesn't even flinch. Garp hits too hard for him to really feel a tiny thump. He smiles, reaching down to touch it. HE'S GONNA TOUCH IT SEE?]

Even if we can't eat it... How can it breathe if it's out of the water?

[That's why it was light. Smoker is mildly less psycho than Garp. But who isn't?]

I honestly have no idea. [It's actually been freaking him out.] But that's why I try to keep it in the ball. I don't want it to get dehydrated. [The fish just flops. It might be grateful. Or dying. Or trying to jump to the clouds. Who can say for sure.]
